Institute for Music Business is registered with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) to serve VR customers. This collaboration is part of our ongoing commitment to making the music industry more inclusive and accessible, particularly for individuals with disabilities.

We’re excited to offer the IMB-VR program to students starting at age 14. All year long, students with disabilities can learn about careers in the music industry. In the IMB-VR program, students will take part in a mix of education, mentorship, and real-world experiences and activities that help them explore careers and college options:
 

• College/University/Technical School Tours: Visits to schools to see what’s available after high school.
• Guest Speakers: Hear from professionals in the music industry.
• Industry Visits: Get a look at different industries, including the exciting world of music.
• Workshops: Hands-on learning experiences to build specific job skills in digital music production, songwriting, publishing, and promotion.
• Career Experiences: Real-world experiences in various music industry careers.
